Warsaw [Poland]: AF Photo

AF Photo is a creative hub for Polish photography. Since its inception the company has supported and promoted talented young artists in both their commercial and artistic development.

AF Photo focuses on the natural talent and unique visual expression of each of its photographers, widening the understanding of photography as a method for visual communication.

Proud of its photographers recent work, AF Photo presents:

  • Rafal Milach - World Press Photo 1st prize winner in Art & Entertainment category for his series "Retired Circus".
  • Marcin Tyszka - completed a set of editorials for magazines including Vogue Spain and Elle Germany.
  • Aldona Karczmarczyk and Marysia Przybysz both did global campaigns for Avon and Oriflame.
  • The agency supported Szymon Szczeniak in his personal exhibition "Mediterranean Journey", publishing the accompanying catalogue.

Zurich [Switzerland]: Avocado

Avocado's photographers have been busy over the last few months.

  • Markus Wendler shot for Courvoisier through creative agency Pubilcis United Moscow. He also travelled to the Nappa Vally near San Francisco to shoot in a beautiful west coast mansion.
  • Fadil Berisha shot Roger Federer for Rolex. Avocado produced the entire session for JWT New York.

The company completed various projects in the Russian capital Moscow:

  • Urs Wyss shot for Fly mobile phones, through creative agency Pubilcis United Moscow. He also shot a new Glamour cigarettes campaign for the Russian market.
  • Marco Grob, who is now fully represented by Avocado throughout Eastern Europe, shot for Swiss watchmakers Zenith, using some of the most beautiful locations in Moscow.
  • Stephan Schacher travelled to Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, to photograph President Ilham Aliyev for the magazine Baku.
  • Also for Baku, Seb Michel shot a 10-page fashion and cover story in Moscow.

The Carolyn Trayler Agency is proud to announce two new arrivals; the dark portraits of Andrzej Dragan and the fantastical illustrations of Athler.

Recent projects from the agency's talent:

  • Patrice de Villiers: Created delicate ads for Schwartz and Hellmann's.
  • Jasper White: Produced eco-conscious spreads for The Observer Magazine. He also got caught creating disco themed set-ups illegally in a graveyard!
  • Simon Mills: Has a new, very graphic portfolio alongside his first foray into the movies: co-directing a short film about his favourite thing... a classic 1972 Triumph.
  • Peter Lippmann: Has completed a Flora campaign with BBH, and a Lenor shot for Grey. He also travelled to NYC to shoot Planters Nuts.
  • Stuart Hall: Shot a campaign for BMW set against dramatic Kowloon backgrounds, and also some delicate trompe-l'oeil ads for Kia.
  • Tim Macpherson: A finalist in the National Portrait Gallery's Portrait Prize with a personal shot from Kazakhstan, as well as a contender for the AOP series award with his Stop Teenage Pregnancy ads.

Buenos Aires [Agrentina]: Civiles Management

Civiles represents a number of talented professionals from outside of its Argentine base, including Japanese artist Namiko Kitaura, Brooklyn-born Andrew Burmeister and Mexico-based Argentine Ramiro Chaves. Adding their lens and skills to this growing list are new entries Chris Clor and Napoleon Habeica.

  • Based in Rochester, Michigan, Chris Clor's portfolio includes such clients as Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, General Motors, Nissan, Carhartt Clothing and the US Navy. He has also shot for ad agencies BBDO, Doner, Ogilvy, Y&R, Campbell-Ewald and McCann-Erickson.
  • Napoleon Habeica is a Mexican artist for Proyectos Monclova Art Gallery who has also developed a wide commercial career shooting campaigns for Puma, Nike and American Apparel across the world. Printed in magazines such as Nylon, Self Service, GQ, Metal and Harper's Bazaar, his photographs have also been requested by the music industry through major labels Universal Music, EMI and Virgin Records.

Civiles Management's Art Department features a Special Bookings division within its photography roster.

  • Allan McPhail finished off 2007 shooting five ads for a global Volvo campaign with Nitro London. He has also just returned from Argentina where he shot the new BMW campaign for WCRS, with And Production.
  • Tessa Traeger has been working with Jasper Conran on his Wedgwood, Waterford Crystal and Bridal lines. She also just completed a Glenfiddich campaign for Purple Creative, Abercrombie and Kent for M+C Saatchi, Uncle Bens for Proximity and Morrisons for DLKW.
  • Kulbir Thandi has been working for Sony with WWAV Rapp Collins, Citroën for Euro RSCG London, Audi for BBH, Jeep for AMV, Lexus for PAA, and Morrisons with Billington Cartmell. He also just completed a new Toshiba campaign for Grey London.  
  • Sam Armstrong has been working hard this year on new portfolio material, as well as with DLKW on Bank of Scotland. 
  • Dario Mitidieri has been continuing his work for the Army with the COI and Publicis, Abbey and Churchill Insurance for WCRS, Fullers for DCH and also RBS for M+C Saatchi. 
  • Josh Cole is working on his ongoing personal projects as well the Met Police Operation Trident for MCBD, Vodafone for DDFHB Dublin, and Nokia for Grey London.

Esser Associates has had a great start to the year. Recent projects include:

  • Landscape photographer Julian Abrams has just finished shooting a series of urban night time shots in his own particular style.
  • David Burgess recently returned from the States where he shot several new launches for Ford using a mixture of conventional and CGI photography.
  • Ashley Cameron has been very busy shooting for a variety of clients including Slim Fast, VW, and The Times, and is currently shooting an advertising campaign involving lions and monkeys roaming the streets for Bristol Zoo.
  • Ed Lee shot a CGI project for Honda in Los Angeles and is currently in the studio shooting for Land Rover.
  • Still life photographer Dom Mowbray has been busy shooting liquid in the shape of the new Terminal 5 building for British Airways, and is about to start on a large project for Kenwood.
  • Recent agency addition, portrait and celebrity photographer Daniel Smith, is currently working on a new series of surfers to follow on from his shots of Australian rugby players. Daniel also has several projects in the pipeline involving some very high profile actors.

 Latest news from the Sue Allatt photographers:

  • Having just shot COI's latest 12 ad campaign, Tif Hunter now finds himself busy travelling the length of the UK photographing exquisite classic cars for the upcoming book "Cars Freedom Style Sex Power Motion Colour Everything", due to be launched this autumn. An exhibition of Tif's beautiful shots will also be held at Tate Modern.

  • Pete Seaward has just returned from the jungles of Borneo after shooting for the Shangri La Hotel chain. He also shot for Land Rover, the English Tourist Board and Strawsons.

  • Andy Blohm, the most recent talent to join the agency, has successfully been in the ring with Ricky Hatton - shooting a series of shots for the Guardian. He is currently putting together an exhibition which opens in London at the end of the summer.

  • After Nigel Parry's great success with his latest book "Blunt", he's been as busy as ever shooting with Angelina Jolie, Rudy Giuliani, Steve Martin, Brad Pitt and Robin Williams.
