• Video Lounge: 7 September - 18 November 2007. Kunsthaus Zürich shows artist's videos from the 1970s to the present day. The videos belong to a collection begun by Kunsthaus Zürich - one of the very first Swiss art museums to focus on the genre. The collection, largely restored, newly catalogued and digitalised, is once again accessible to the general public.

Recent awards for photographers Fabian Scheffold and Istvan Vizner:

• The pair were nominated out of 15,000 images from 69 countries in the categories of Fine Art and People at the 2nd Annual Photography Masters Cup.

• One of their projects 'Crash' was selected for publication in the Photography Annual 2007. Their winning entry will appear in the October issue of Creative Review.

Latest news from photographer Sandra Seckinger:

• A shoot for beQueen, a web-forum for women, entitled 'Don't worry, mother and child are in good health'.

• A personal project for a 2008 calendar under the concept 'create more children', a campaign designed to encourage a higher birth-rate in Germany. Sandra creates extraordinarily appealing images that present children and their everyday adventures in what is a thought-provoking and smile-raising look at modern attitudes towards child-care. • A shoot for McDonald's with Swiss national football player Barnetta and eleven lively kids. Shot on-location at Leverkusen stadium and in a Munich studio, the advert was produced for the EM 2008.

The upcoming European Football Championship allowed Christoph Läser to work in one of his favourite fields - sports photography. He shot the new JVC campaign featuring Alex Frei, captain of the Swiss national team.

Another challenge was the new winter-sports folder for Manor shot around the Alpine resort of Zermatt. A devoted local crew helped make the shoot a real success.

Trips to the Netherlands and Nice rounded up a busy season for the photographer.

Geri Krischker has shot people and corporate photography for many years.

Be it on the Jungfraujochs glacier (Victoria Jungfrau Collection), the grass of St. Jakob Stadium (Feldschlöschen), in the corridor of an Indian laboratory (CIBA), or at a red-hot construction site in Phoenix Arizona (Hilti), Geri Krischker quickly finds authentic contact with people that produces emotionally moving portraits of all his subjects. A recent client said of his work "I always get what I was looking for - and more."

This year he shot for, amongst others: Victoria Jungfrau Collection, National Suisse, FHNW, The Times, Triumpf, Credit Suisse and Migros.

Since 1997, Fotobild GmbH has offered high quality professional photo editing services.

From his studio in Zurich, Felix Schregenberger works in the Swiss and European advertising markets. He is currently in the process of opening a second office in Buenos Aires, a city that Felix describes as his "second homeland".

Established in Zurich for over three years, scout Model agency is renowned for its scouting and promotion of professional models at the highest level.

The agency has built a solid reputation through its 30-plus talent pool. The division was recently boosted with the addition of international models such as Bernard Fouquet, Davide De Penn, Nenad Zucic, Birgit Braunschweig and Ingmari Lamy.

The Swiss division of the company is successful in both the national and international markets. Lucien Thomkins, one of scout's youngest stars, shot campaigns for Hugo Boss, Cerutti and Pull & Bear. He is currently working with Gubelin.

Anna Meier and Matthias Imhof along with new face Leonie Häsler are on the verge of doing likewise, whilst Diego Krauss now finds himself successful in Paris.

The agency is also looking for a booker for its team in Zurich.

Currently Ruth is preparing both casting and styling for a new worldwide image campaign for Novartis.

Photoicon documents the meteoric rise of the fusion of art and photography. An expert team of international writers, designers and artists have created a dynamic photography journal for the new millennium.

Examining new techniques and technologies and showcasing the artists who explore these directions, the magazine offers rare and exclusive interviews along with previously unseen archive material.

A high-calibre, full-colour magazine set in the Vanity Fair format, and with distribution established over 30 countries worldwide, Photoicon has an international profile and pan-European visibility. It's recent 'Focus on Switzerland' featured both the Swiss Foundation for Photography and the Fotomuseum, two institutions in the small town of Winterthur aiming to place Swiss photography at the centre of the international photographic scene.

Andreas Gursky, 20 October 2007 - 24 February 2008

Born in Leipzig in 1955, Andreas Gursky now lives in Düsseldorf and is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost contemporary photographers. Among the hallmarks of his work are his use of colour, the widespread deployment of digital image processing, and his super-size formats.

In concentrated form this exhibition presents some 25 works by the artist, many of them created during 2007. They include new motifs within the familiar thematic spectrum of the photographer's work over latter years, such as a stock exchange trading floor in Kuwait and the interior of a Frankfurt nightclub. The exhibition also includes photographs from his recent series 'Pyongyang' and 'F1 Pit Stop'.
