If you're in or near New York City over the coming months be sure to check-out Visions Of Rock at the 401 Projects gallery in Greenwich Village, on show from 9th September until 4th November, 2007. 401 Projects and American Photo present the personal photography of some of the world's most famous Rock 'n' Rollers. This is a great behind-the-scenes chance to see what makes your favourite musicians tick.

Following in the footsteps of the famed photographer Mario Testino, Jeff Olson created a new image for A.B.S. by the Allen Schwartz brand for their recent Fall campaign. He will also be shooting the brand's Spring 2008 campaign.

Jeff's images appear in September's Vogue Latin America, whilst the photographer will have a second story published in the November issue that features Covergirl face and supermodel, Tiiu.

He was hired to put a fashionable spin on the new 'What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas' ad campaign, currently appearing in American Vogue. He also shot the latest 2008 Anne Cole swim campaign.

Jeff Olson is highlighted in the July/August issue of Picture Magazine, with a major feature article (and cover photo) that focuses on his style and use of imagery.

The latest round-up of news from Keiko Represents:

Jens Umbach received AR 100's 'Top 10 Photographs' award this summer for his portrait work with IBM, shot across half a dozen US cities with Chicago VSA Partners. His recent editorial work for the London Observer includes subjects David Oyelowo (The Last King of Scotland) and Michael Sheen (The Queen). Other recent work includes portraits for German Vogue, TIME and Procter & Gamble.

Jimmy Cohrssen has returned from Asia where he photographed the new Swatch Nicolas G. Hayek Center in Ginza, and The Seiki University Library in Tokyo, both buildings by renowned architect Shigeru Ban. His image of the acclaimed English product and furniture designer Jasper Morrison will appear in the October issue of China Vogue.

Keiko Represents also announce the addition of still-life photographer Sebastian Gollings to their roster. Sebastian's recent campaigns include Armani Attitude for Vogue Austraila and Strongbow Cider with The Furnace. His recent clients include: Details, GQ, Phillips, Honda, L'Oreal, ROC, and Dove, amongst others.

  • Photographer Jeff Olson shot for Vogue Latin America, ABS by Allen Schwartz Fall and Spring campaigns, Anne Cole 2008 swim campaign, the 'What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas' campaign, and actress Mischa Barton for NEO2.
  • Photographer Danielle St.Laurent worked with Rolling Stone and Cisco Audio, and is currently working with Out Magazine for the yearly OUT100 issue that features the current top-100 celebrities.
  • Photographer Andrew Yee shot the new Mischen Fall campaign, in addition to the Fall Vidal Sassoon and Sweetface campaigns.
  • Fashion stylist Kellan worked with the band The Plain White T's at the MTV VMA awards, as well as for their appearance on The Tonight Show, and will be working with musician Moby for his upcoming album cover.
  • Fashion stylist Kemal Harris worked with photographers Greg Kadel & Walter Chin for the new Holt Renfrew Fall campaigns. Kemal also joined SGM photographer Andrew Yee for the new Sweetface ads.

Ansgar shot a new spread for Style International, a very personal story entitled 'Faraway So Close' that reflected on themes of love, closeness and distance. With feminine, playful images, the photographer presents a softer side to his work.

Recent projects include a catalogue and ad campaign for Edgar's, shot on location in South Africa, as well as an editorial for Marie Claire.

In addition, it appears the French art world is discovering his photography, with recent rave-reviews and an upcoming solo show planned for next year in Paris.

New York City-based fashion photographer Eros Messina of Fizz Photography continues to grow and acquire new clients, a selection of which currently include: Ambrosi, Leo Burnett, K-mart, Sears, Mi’ngks, and Zac Posen.

His recent collaboration with fashion designer Zac Posen involved shooting the Spring/Summer 2008 handbag collection.

Working directly for Mi’ngks, Eros shot the Look Book for their Spring 2008 Collection.

Maintaining his collaboration with Ford Model Agency, he has also looked to extend his relationships with Images and Women Model Management.

It has been a busy few months for Julian Hibbard.

In May he shot on location for Popular Mechanics magazine. Travelling to Greensburg, Kansas, a small town 95% destroyed three weeks earlier by a category 5 tornado, Julian produced the cover and lead story images
for the magazine's 'Survive Anything' edition.

A special challenge given the scale and type of destruction, Julian encountered the town's few remaining inhabitants - strong, determined, yet humbled by their experience.

His cover image set-ups evoke a surreal quality, depicting a place where there was once life, and where it appears time has since stood still.

Recent exciting projects for photographers Adrian Mueller, Sylvan Müller and Beat Brechbühl of fabrik studios:

The trio was commissioned by ad agency Scholz & Friends to shoot for Siemens ('How Does She Do It?') and Balisto ('Fresh and Fruity'). Both advertisements also highlight the talent and retouching skills of Simon Eugster.

Also this summer, the Swiss photographers shot graphic campaigns for Bodum and Guebelin Jewelers, and collaborated with art director Zack Holliday on a series of fun and light-hearted ads for Schmidt Beer.

Adrian Mueller and fabrik studios as a whole are now represented by Mutale Kanyanta and Curt Weber at AER.

In the six months since Gloss Postproduction opened their doors to photographers and creative professionals in New York City, they have realized several major campaigns for the US market.

Their current project is for the INFINITI G Coupe launch campaign, that features billboards all over Manhattan and the US.

Together with the creative team from TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, and photographer Olaf Hauschulz, the company again created a unique new-look for the INFINITI brand.

Gloss also recently moved to a new location on 35 W 31st Street, Suite 901, New York, NY 10001.

At Industrial Color, the formula for their success in managing digital capture for the biggest productions all over the world comes from their company culture of leadership and innovation.

In Jan 2007, the company moved into its custom built 30,000 sq. ft. Tribeca facility to support its growing capture operations that include a tier 3 Datacenter, their web-based editing tool GLOBALeditTM, as well as their sister company Impact Digital - a high-end retouching, pre-media and CGI/3D studio.

GLOBALeditTM (Version 3 released in early 2007) has become the platform of choice for end-to-end digital workflows, allowing users to streamline processes, shorten production cycles, eliminate waste and reduce costs.

In April, they launched their newest undertaking: the M Project Gallery, a 2000 sq. ft gallery showcasing experimentation and innovation in photography and related fields, especially applications of digital technology.
