• World Press Photo 2007, the most important annual exhibition of Photo Journalism, brings together the best 200 images selected out of 78,000 entries from journalists in 124 countries. 25th October until 19th November at the Borges Cultural Centre.
• The 10th edition of El Ojo de Iberoamérica, 19th until 21st November, sees representatives from the international creative industries meet to debate, showcase and predict future developments in communication, advertising and entertainment.

Kenzo (Paris) and its creative director Antonio Marras recently trusted Red Creek Productions on a shoot for a new campaign in Buenos Aires.

Shot by Yelena Yemchuk (video director Smashing Pumpkins) and inspired by the movie Last Tango in Paris, the campaign includes a special appearance by film goddess Dominique Sanda, muse to both Bertolucci and Bresson.

The campaign captures the mysterious yet sexy energy of the city, and was shot using an experimental HD technique.

With its own production crew, graphic designers, art directors, and stage designers, the company aims to create production ideas that fully satisfy the imagination of its clients.

Gaby Herbstein has exhibited her work across a range of Argentinean Museums as well as in prestigious contemporary art galleries in the US city of Miami. She was elected by the Argentinean Consulate in Miami to represent Argentina at an International Book Fair.

Over the years, Buenos Aires-born Ale Burset has shot for clients including Reebok, VW, Chevrolet, Phillip Morris, Converse, Adidas, Ford, Chandon, Energizer and Quaker, amongst many others. His most recent jobs have been for Nike, Greenpeace, Clorox, Hospital Aleman, Osteoporosis and Vectra.

Working internationally, the photographer spreads his time between Argentina, North America, Mexico and Europe.

In Spain, he is represented by AProductions and in the USA by Denise Stewart.

Inés García Baltar specialises in fashion and beauty photography. Her versatility makes her a suitable choice for a broad range of projects.

She has worked for many different advertising agencies and has completed work for clients in the USA, UK, Mexico, and Ecuador.

She regularly collaborates with a number of Buenos Aires-based magazines including FTVmag, Para Ti, Catalogue and D-mode, and has worked with some of the best local fashion brands.

Adrián Markis is a Buenos Aires-based photographer specialising in post-production techniques and digital art. He works for agencies in Argentina and around the world.

His personal projects are based on how Adrian presents his own world through images. He is currently working on a project entitled 'Calaberas'.

Born in 1978, Dolores Esteve studied cinema and later went on to devote herself to fashion photography.

Since 2003 she has worked as a freelance fashion photographer between both  Cordoba and Buenos Aires.

She particularly enjoys working with natural light, aiming to create uniquely intimate atmospheres that produce very feminine and delicate images.

With a particular sensibility for natural light, photographer Virginia Del Giudice shoots interiors for major decoration magazines across the globe. Her work is distinguished by stylistic simplicity and the overall quality of her analogue images.

This featured photo series forms part of a short anthropological project that looks at a selection of Argentinean houses that have received subsidies for the creative arts from the Antorchas Foundation.
